| | | | Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 1,289 Moderator for Tons o' Fun , Co-Moderator Driveline Forum | | Moderator for Tons o' Fun , Co-Moderator Driveline Forum Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 1,289 | I think that 1/4 x 3/4 adhesive backed weather strip would work just fine and would cost less, however, I got the repop seal , part number 43-311 from Classic parts, $3.95 plus shipping. It fits perfectly and I didn't have to spend time cutting to fit or be concerned about the latch working properly because the clearance wasn't correct. I used weatherstrip adhesive to install it and I would imagine you'd need to do the same.
