The 1954 truck with HT used the same carburetor as the car with manual transmission (synchromesh)
Make sure you have the correct carburetor before spending $ on it.
If you have no ID tag on the fuel bowl look for a stamp number on the bottom of the throttle base.
Buying individual missing parts will be expensive. Buy junk Rochester BC's and salvage for parts.
Rochester B and BC carburetors are cheap except on ebay where they are overpriced X 100 (seriously).
At one time, Carbking was (call and find out) giving them away if you purchase a rebuild kit and pay shipping.

Look at the diagram and the picture for help on cam and linkage pieces.

The choke housing needs an expansion plug. See pictures.

Throttle linkage. See picture. This is a special arrangement only for trucks with HT.
