| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 53 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 53 | I have a 1950 3100 with a 216. I have neveer had the engine running, but I am near that point finally. I have a Carter 730S carb that came on the engine when I bought the truck. It has a couple of holes in the base that are opposite to the slots in the carb insulator underneath. What do these holes do and by putting a gasket in between the carb and insulator that will open them up to "breathe"?
Thanks for all the help for this newbie.
