Hello all, been reading this forum for a while, thought it was time to finally get involved. Just purchased my second stovebolt! Both are "Big Bolts". A couple years ago I picked up my first, 1961 Chevy (Viking?) C60 Wayne School bus, we are going to cover it into our family RV. It's going to take some doing, but there won't be one like it.
A few days ago I found my second. A 1947 Chevy 2 Ton. A legitimate "field find". The owner said it came with ranch. He had never seen it move. Been parked for the last 3 decades. He has no idea where the title is, so it will be bill of sale only. That's not too big of an issue here in Montana. We agreed on a price and I set off to tinkering. Had it running in about 2 hours. I need to get some air in a couple tires and refill and bleed the brakes. Going to attempt to drive it home on the backroads (about 80 miles).
