Most of the hot rod magazines have LS/LT swap kits for sale in the advertising pages in the back. Like Barnfind 49 we make up most of our own but do use the services of a "Techie" for dialing in the engine and transmission harnesses/controllers.
I actually do all my own stuff. I own the software to do the flash and setup on stock ecu stuff.
J Lucas- I also have read that book earlier on in my swap career and its 50/50 for help/harm. I feel like the person that wrote it did like 2 swaps and never thought outside the box. They give a lot of specifics that they say you “need” but you really dont. There is no manual for step by step swap stuff because every situation is different. Old style 3-4spd trans, th350-400, 4l80e, all kinda require a different process and can use different stock parts but there are tons of “swap” parts that people overprice or say you need when it reality there is super easy work arounds for almost everything. I personally think those books make it over complicated but I know that my experience and way my brain works makes it worse when I read them. In my opinion any of the LS swaps are fairly “easy”.
