The guy doing the Jag conversion was using a V-12 engine, and all the associated running gear- - - -independent suspension rear end, etc. I was thinking about using the older dual overhead cam six, and the 4 speed- - -Laycock overdrive transmission setup. The Laycock unit had an electric shift OD available on 3rd. and 4th. gears, resulting in effectively 6 speeds.
