Hy Devilsix, the chassis of your truck was never designed to have any V8 engine as its power. There are major clearance issues with the steering box among other things. We have no idea what your fabrication skills are and what facilities you have to work in, but yes with a lot of time, money, parts and fabrication you could install a V8 engine in front of your trucks original transmission. It may be a better solution to find out why your existing engine is not running correctly and make whatever repairs are required to make it run correctly.
