Are you running a V8 engine or a six? Putting a TH 350 behind a 235 requires a pretty pricey adapter plate and a modified flex plate, since that was never an option from the factory. A 350 trans and a V8 will bolt together, but it might require a little creative drilling or flex plate swapping to make the torque converter bolt up.
