So, I have been looking for a 60-66 K10/K20 and not had a lot of luck. My thought now is to find a 2wd 60-66 long bed Fleetside and swap that body onto a later Suburban 4x4 chassis. I would really like to keep an auto trans in the Suburban BUT, I'd also like to keep the 60-66 interior looking as stock as possible. So, i'd really like to use the original 60-66 auto column, hence wondering if anyone has actually done this and how.
