We're the dump beds on the old trucks a dealer installed option or aftermarket? I've seen 4 11/2-2 ton chevy trucks and all the dump mechanisms were different. A old timer at a local truck shop told me my dump mechanism was built by Superior industries, they went out of business years ago and it's impossible to get parts for. If searched the internet and can't find any info on the company. Has anyone heard of this company. On my 6400 the hydrolic pump Is part of a manifold that has two humps that go all the way back to the ram. The pump and manifold are one unit and can't be separated.
