We had a little difficulty hooking up the pulleys for the water pump, alternator, power steering to the harmonic balancer on the crank shaft. Fortunately the crank shaft pulley, which was the original truck double served as the staring point. The water pump presented a problem, originally was a truck double pulley, had to be a single pulley to line up with the alternator, thereby freeing up the second pulley on the crank for the power steering pump. Looked through all of my parts stashes, nada, then the lights came on in my pea sized brain to check a '65 230 six that I have. Score, the water pump pulley was a perfect fit for the 292 water pump to alternator belt. Don't need to worry about fan clearance because I am going to use an electric fan/ shroud mounted to the radiator.
