My '47 has had many PO mods. I've replaced the door rubber and the cab rubber just arrived. I refer to that one as a D type seal or "pork chop" seal. It's goes on the inner part of the door jam and has the metal strip over it. I removed a third piece of rubber from the cab on the outer part of the jam. Under the rain gutter and down along the striker, ect. I'm thinking this was not there originally and was added later due to the other rubber failing. I haven't come across it from normal venders. So is there suppose to be a second cab seal on the outer part of the jamb?
