For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | I have a Chevy small block with hugger type headers. Getting the plug boots and wiring routed wirhout touching the hot header pipes is proving difficult. I have the MSD high temp wires and boots, but still melting where they touch headers. Headers are ceramic coated so I don't want to wrap them. Parts guy suggested plug & wire sleeves but instructions say these should not rest directly on header pipes either ?? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks | | |
