I'd be tempted to spend the 30 bucks on that test kit I found, but they'd probably want another $30 to ship it to me.
Actually their site says free shipping.
Like I said, I'm pretty confident in the acid reactivity test.
I've only found a couple of spots where the zinc didn't adhere well, as on the spring steel.
