| | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats | | Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 | I built my own setup for my S-10 a while back using Camaro calipers, and custom aluminum brackets to rotate the calipers to clear the leaf springs. Have a picture I can email if interested.
I also installed really big disc's on the front with Corvette calipers as I wanted Stop along with the Go.
A multi-position rapid adjust proportioning valve was used so I could add more rear brake bias when I ran loaded compared to empty. (Some Chrysler mini vans and trucks have the proportional valve tied in to the ride height, so when loaded the rear brakes get more pressure sooner.)
