| | | | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 | All the sbc up to 67 and l6 from 63-67 trucks should work for your 57. 68 is when GM went to the SM465 in trucks. The 465 has a larger front bearing retainer. Almost forgot you don't want 60-62 sbc bell housing, that had the hydraulic clutch.
