Got them hooked up! ended up just straightening the bellcrank piece to clear, and making a new rod. It's all been working well so far. It's amazing what a proper exhaust will do for a truck. No more down shifting just to get up a hill. That old pipe system was only about 1 1/2" inner diameter, so I'd imagine it was getting choked pretty bad.
I got the heat kit from Jim Carter. No hiccups with it. The engine really seems to like the heat. Thanks for everyone's input.
