I’ve been restoring a 1958 GMC 3/4 ton NAPCO truck and had a simple question. I’ve had to piece some of this truck together and wanted to make sure rear lower shock mounts look like there mounted correctly(see pics)? I’m 99% sure they are. Haven’t added axle u-bolt nuts in picture just yet. Just checking before I order shocks and tighten up everything on chassis. Which brings me to next question. Engine is not in frame yet. I’m looking for shocks. The front shock mounts eye to eye center equal 17”. The rear mounts eye to eye center are 25”. I’m looking for OEM “looking” shocks. Preferably black but I can paint if necessary. If anyone has an idea where I could find the correct shocks I’d appreciate the help.
