| | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 547 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 547 | Sounds like a piece was reinstalled backwards or incorrectly if the choke slams shut with the pedal pushed. It should open with the pedal. I'm not familiar with the Zenith carbs. Go back over your assembly and check it with your diagrams that came with your rebuild kit.
