I just rebuilt the zenith 228 with electric choke on my 1953 gmc. Now it starts and idles great but boggs on fast acceleration and even back fires. I was thinking accelerator pump but it's all new and looks/works as it should. I did notice that a quick pump on the pedal and the choke slams shut, if I hold the choke open and rev it, no issues. Any ideas on why it's doing that? | | |
