Joe H 'Bolter J Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,194 Lee's Summit Mo. 64086	Sounds like the distributor bushings are worn out along with shims that hold the up and down to a minimum. That would explain the BB not holding steady. Start with rebuilding the distributor then move to the accelerator pump in the carburetor. 1937 Chevrolet Inline-powered Streetrod
