the glove box lock contains mushroomed pot aluminum in the assembly and is not considered rekeyable because you can't undo the crimping of that pot aluminum and expect it to not break.
The attached pic of a glovebox cylinder shows the staking of the wire holding the tumblers in place. Not an insurmountable task for a good locksmith. The original staking could be cut away, the lock re-keyed with new tumblers, and new staking done to hold the new tumblers in place.
