That wheel in your photo looks to be from a much later truck (like post-1960). I have a '51 3600 and am looking at using 8-lug steel wheels from a much later truck as well, to which I plan to install the six clips to hold the hub caps (3/4 ton hubcaps are 11" diameter). I know a place near where I live that sells old hub caps. I'm hoping they have a cap of the right vintage from a 3/4 ton truck so I can test the fit. When I do, if you don't already have an answer, I'll get back to you.
