The only thing I have thought of to try is to maybe make the hole in the boot a little bigger so as to slide easier along the shaft. I’ll also try cleaning the shaft well and maybe put some dry lubricant on it to allow the bellows to maybe not stretch out so much. When/if this one fails I’ll look into other boot options like Jerry suggested.
