The only way that would be useful would be to adjust the upper hook under something, push the handle down, to raise the item, stick a block under it, raise the handle, readjust the hook, push the handle down, insert a block, etc, etc, etc.
Wouldn't work for a vehicle, because the suspension probably would relax before the tire got off the ground to block it up. I guess you could block it under the frame or bumper.
