| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | Due to the demand and limited availability of the stock Toyota steering boxes (available on 84-87 4X4 trucks) the aftermarket came out with a replacement which has a new casting that mounts directly to the TF frame. I'm sure each vendor has assigned it a name or number to make it sound like they have some exclusive product. Basic same product and they work well. Maybe some call it a Vega box to appeal to the street rod folks.
