| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | There is a Series 400, new on the market, that fits in the existing location, looks pretty good, uses Toyota pitman arm(must be SAE splines, kind of short though. Look on EBay. Hooks directly to J shaped left spindle arm. Other options would be to mount GMC 3500 HD( non P axle) whole front axle and replace the left, inside frame steering gear with an outside frame gear like GMC 4wd, etc. units, have to extend angled tie rod. Moves tie rod to front of axle.
