One problem with the P30 conversion is that at least on my 1940 1.5 ton, I’d have a different bolt pattern than before, necessitating the need to run different rims in the front than the rear. Mine is a 10/5 lug 4.75 center circle with 7.25 spacing. So if I wanted to go the P30 route I’d have to swap the rear axle in as well to be able to run the same rims all the way around.
