3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy Elmo, according to the Truck Data books that cover the respective years, the 1940 box is 48 1/2" wide inside, the 1950 box is 50" inside, hope that helps.
