Has anyone tried the Zips water pump adapter on sbc? It raises the water pump about 5 inches from original location. Only thing is the water pump is a 250 pump if I remember correctly. Fits just like a short water pump on pulleys. That moves the fan up to top or middle of radiator. I do have one installed and trying it out, So far it is much better than the electric fan that i did not like. I think Hot Rod Lincoln knows what I am talking about and it is running off a v belt. Jerry and I had long discussion over electric verses mechanical and he was correct again.
For the curious I have 350 mounted in a 39 half ton pickup with the original steering box and upgraded radiator in pickup with the setup on it.
