If you ever worked with heat & welding aluminum you realize how fast alum. transfers heat. GM solved the overheating problems with Corvetts by using aluminum radiators back in the 70's. Champion makes a rugged radiator at a very reasonable price. I ran one in my 56 w/350 eng.& A/C. It did a good job.
