We have a 1949 Studebaker pickup with very bad surface pitting that we would normally blast to the bottom of the pits using our wet blaster to prevent warping. This takes a long time when every square inch of the surface is pitted so we are trying KBS rust converter applied with a brush and not reduced. Hopefully this will fill the pits and leave a flat surface after wet sanding. Prefer KBS over POR15 as it seems to give better top coat adhesion. Will leave to cure for at least a week in hot Texas sun. We use the white with color tint to give the approximate hue of the finish top coat. Will follow up with a thumbs up or down.
