Hey Mike51, I removed 3 leafs(per side) from my front springs and I'm in the process of installing a 327(about 150# lighter than the I-6)
It will lower about 2.5-3". I also went with 5 lug 15" wheels and tires. Haven't trimmed the bumpstops yet but may have to. Remember if you do lower, get the lowered gas shock! It will make the diffrence in ride and handleing. Good luck!
