It took a half day, but I got it installed. It took a lot of pushing and squeezing and swearing, but we got it in. The corners were the hardest due to not being able to wedge the gap open much when working there. I would say the job would have been almost impossible without having an extra pair of hands involved. We got in each others way on occasion, sometimes it felt like we were playing twister, but we got it done. The gasket was in places thicker than the gap that we needed to push it into, so I had to widen the gap in places to get it to fit. Mostly in the corners. I wonder how the original installers did it, maybe the gasket was thinner and/or more pliable; maybe they had a special tool too. Anyway, I am glad it is done.
