I've thought about modifying the factory cab mounts on my 54. Th initial thought process was too use a biscuit style motor mount. The factory cab shackles actually do a pretty good job when it comes to absorbing shock and vibration. A better solution would be to modify the front cab mounts. The OE mount is basically justa chunk of rubber with a bolt through it. The trick is finding mount that is internally tied, so your cab stays on the frame when the rubber wears out.
