| | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,904 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,904 | I assume your '53 is the same as my '48. Like Pre-68 Dave said, key straight up and down is "On." To the left (key turned counterclockwise) is "Off" and locked when the key is removed.
To the right (key turned clockwise) is also "Off" but the switch can be turned back on without the key. This position could be for the farmers who did know who would be driving the truck next.
