Hoping to get a little help from the experts, my knowledge base is very narrow. My wife inherited this '46 a couple of years ago and I know a lot of the hardware isn't original but I'm trying to figure out how to get some hub caps that are more like the originals "should be". Right now it has hubcaps that look like corvette maybe? The diameter that the hubcaps snap into is 7". I ordered some from Jim Carter thinking it was standard but the diameter of the "snap-in" on the hubcaps I received is about 7.5" Are there hubcaps of the correct style available that will fit these rims? Or would I have to replace the rims too? they are 5 lug which I think is not original??
