Jim Carter and the Filling Station have these large washers as part of their kits. Looking at my '51 it is hard to tell what gauge they are and whether they are spot welded due to paint over previously corroded metal. I would want a heavier gauge, like 16g or 14g. Evan, I bet we could come up with something else for you to duplicate if you are looking for a project! It is cool you can do this, nice job.
