My running board question was in reference to my son's recently purchased 1938 1/2 ton Chev pickup. No rust but it is missing the front fenders, rear fenders, and running boards.
I have a 38 1/2 ton GMC long bed panel parts truck. The front fenders look like they'll fit but the running boards are about 2' too long and the rear fenders don't match up to his pickup at all.
I'd prefer not to cut the long running boards to fit his pickup if we can find some that will fit.
My son is going to take your measurements and check out the 39 Chev 1/2 ton running boards in a couple of days.
