| | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 Ex Hall Monitor | | Ex Hall Monitor Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 | Your oil filter canister has a bonus. The plug at the bottom allows you to drain the oil out of it. A lot of canisters do not have this feature making it a pain to remove the oil.
Rick X2 You can buy a 1/8 NPT ball valve & put it in the drain hole along with a length of rubber fuel line which makes it a LOT easier to drain the housing excess without making a mess.
