I can see how mixing the too units of measurement would easily happen if you don't work with it everyday... Thank you, I have contacted both sawmills for a quote, but in the meantime, someone else replied... The Hardwood Store Inc. in Gibsonville, N.C. 8/4 white Oak (S4S) 1.75 x 120" comes out to be $1268 which means $15.85 per board foot... Shipping another $270.00 bringing the total to $1538.00 Very pricey rear deck, but I have no choice...
Now the rest of the challenge means trying to get some steel bed strips that are 120" long... Would anyone know where to go?
