I believe a slightly later model coil spring suspension is almost a bolt-in swap, and it's a lot less expensive to rebuild than the torsion bar setup. It might be worth looking into that conversion before you pull the trigger on a rebuild kit. New torsion bars in particular are scarce and expensive.
