I recently purchased a 1966 GMC 1500. The 1965 GMC I am restoring is down to the frame and will require many hrs of work. Not forgotten just needed a driver. The 1966 does not have the speedo connected. It has a turbo 400 in it but the transmission has an electric connection on the speedo drive. The rear end has a tag on it 4110/4:10. My question is how many tooth gear drive will I need? Also have connected a cordless drill to insure the speedo and cable are not locked up. Accelerated to 70 mph quickly. Yee haw Also what is the best way to lubricate the speedo cable?
