Mahle is a big name in pistons, oil pumps, etc. for performance applications (as evidenced by stickers on NASCAR cars). They've been around since 1920, founded in Germany, and started out making pistons.
I don't think you can go wrong with either Fel-Pro (who started out in 1918, and specializes in gaskets) or Mahle.
