I second the motion of putting transmission fluid in the cylinders and letting that soak in there.
I'm told there are also plenty of videos on YouTube explaining such things as installing and setting points, etc. (I say I'm told that--haven't looked myself, as I already know how to do it.) But as mentioned, do your homework and check out all the different forums on this site. Plenty of good info here and guys willing to help.
