Joe, you've gotta a point about not making to many different styles of brackets. Makes good sense from an inventory/parts perspective. Thats good news on the power steering pump. Since it is also going to power the brake booster I want to use the one from the 1-ton dually. Besides its almost new!
I'm probably going to follow Grigg's method of mounting the hydraboost unit and brake cylinder under the floorboard with a remote mounted reservoir. Prior to seeing his photos I had always planned on changing pedals etc and mounting everything on the firewall. Seeing that you and Grigg have proven something can be adapted I think thats they way I want to go.
Brian, it looks like the idler on the middle left side replaces an idler. At least from the picture it appears that way.
HevyHauler, I did manage to get the complete set of mounting brackets although I noticed last night the the right hand unit has a couple of mounting tabs busted off. I'll either have to get them fixed or find a replacement. There is a good local machine shop that welds aluminum and I might have them fix them up.
