My gas gauge hasn't been working since I started to get the truck back on the road again. I found out the hot wire coming from my tank was severed. When I reconnected it and turned the key on the gas gauge came on. Voila! But when I shut off the key, it stayed on. Not so Voila!. I think the gauge is reading correctly. About 3/8 full.
