| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | We did an original restore on a 57 Cameo and it had a 3.55 behind the Hydramatic. The 57 trucks came with 265's even though the cars went to the 283. It was geared PLENTY deep but would be much more cruise friendly than a 3.90.
