Thanks George! I'll have to pass, though -- A few of us are already signed up for traffic control detail, working for Scotty Shifflet. This will be about the 5th time (?) we've worked this detail as a small core group -- and it looks like he has a special camping area set up so we can all be together, which should be good. Traffic detail can be brutal, and when we get off at the end of the day, we usually have just enough left to get to a folding chair that isn't too far away ... Billy, Mike B, Mike R and some others will recall such great duty stations as "Hell's Gate" (Baltimore), "Chaos Corner" (Huntsville) and who will ever forget "Malfunction Junction" at York??? I'm pretty sure both Billy and I suffered PTSD from that one.
As I recall, South Bend was pretty benign ... until Scott Ward showed up at the transporter gate ...
