My 65 C10 has a transmission problem (jumps out of second under accereration). So, I have to get up to about 25mph and shift to third (three on a tree) and it pulls very will at low speed in high gear. Also I have a 4:11 differential which helps. I will fix it one day, but out of curiousity I wondered what size 6 banger I have and I checked it with butlers list that I print-ed up a while back (mortec only covers v8s) and I can't find my block casting 3921968 on their list. 3921970 is a 292, but I don't think that the closeness of the numbers has any meaning. Anyone have any input? I would appreciate any info.
